Susan Gilchrist, MD, MS
Senior Medical Director
Susan Gilchrist, MD, is a Medical Director of CVMER (cardiovascular, metabolic, endocrine and renal) at Fortrea. Dr. Gilchrist is a board-certified cardiologist with more than 15 years of experience treating cardiovascular patients and has formally trained in epidemiology and clinical trial design. As a clinician scientist, she has extensive experience in cardiovascular cohort and clinical trial development and execution and has contributed to over 100 peer-reviewed publications in cardiovascular clinical research.
Dr. Gilchrist has an MD from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio (UTHSCSA) and completed a cardiology fellowship at Wake Forest University School of Medicine and an internal medicine residency program at UTHSCSA. She earned an MS in Epidemiology and Clinical Research from Wake Forest University Graduate School and a BA from the University of Texas at Austin.
Suning Qian, MD
Oncology Medical Expert
Suning Qian, MD, has eight years of pharmaceutical experience in oncology area and has built strong relationships with external research groups and Key Opinion Leaders. She has medical monitoring experience in all phases of oncology trials, focused on planning and execution of oncology clinical development projects. Dr. Qian earned her medical degree from Peking Union Medical College, Tsinghua University, and completed her internal medicine residency and fellowship training at Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital. She joined our company in July 2021.

Sonia Preston
Senior Director, Strategic Delivery & Growth
Sonia Preston is a Senior Director in Strategic Delivery & Growth for Infectious Diseases and Critical Care and is based near Salt Lake City, Utah. Sonia has more than 25 years of clinical research experience including working as a study coordinator for the VA and in a university setting, in major pharma and for the CRO industry in senior positions of leadership in both project management and strategy. Her therapeutic focus within the last five years has been in infectious and immunological diseases, multiple therapeutic areas of rare diseases, renal, cardiovascular, and pulmonary indications. She has been in drug development in Phases I-IV with expertise in pediatric studies and hybrid study designs.
Sonia is a certified Green Belt in Six Sigma and has been certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2003 and remains an active member of the Project Management Institute. She earned her master’s degree in operational management from the University of Washington. She joined our company in 2006.
Sarah Bolger-Ford
SEnior Medical Director, Strategic Delivery and Growth
Sarah Bolger-Ford is Senior Director within the Ophthalmology section of the Strategic Delivery and Growth group at Fortrea, based in the UK. She has a PhD in Physiology from King’s College London (UK) and has more than 25 years in the industry, from trainee CRA, through project management to her present position, and joined our company in November 2006.
She works with the pre-award team to provide client’s with tailored proposals, supports study teams in strategic delivery of awarded work and contributes to the growth of the ophthalmology portfolio.
Sarah is passionate about being part of the development of sight preserving and sight restoring solutions for patients.
Rosemary Molinari
Executive Director
Rosemary Molinari, Executive Director, provides overall leadership to all functions, cohesively addressing risk management and strategic planning to support core teams throughout the study. Rosemary has 25 years of Fortrea experience with expertise in managing Phase I through IV studies from protocol development through to submissions to regulatory authorities. She has experience in both global and North American studies in the areas of Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, CV and cardiovascular outcome studies.
Reigetsu Yoshikawa, MD, PhD
Senior Medical Director
Reigetsu Yoshikawa, MD, PhD, is a Senior Medical Director for Fortrea in Osaka, Japan. She contributes to the development of medical strategies and execution of clients’ clinical programs and provides medical/scientific expertise to project teams. Dr. Yoshikawa has more than 30 years of experience as a physician, medical director/advisor, and professor of medicine in Japan.
Before joining Fortrea, she was Senior Medical Advisor for Eli Lilly and previously served as Senior Medical Lead for Dainippon Sumitomo Pharma in Japan. Dr. Yoshikawa has served on the editorial boards of several peer-reviewed journals and has authored or co-authored dozens of articles, presentations, and abstracts. She joined our company in January 2021.
